I wrote this book in 2001 when I was 24 years old.
At that time, few books in this genre were written by women in their early 20s. I compiled this book from personal experiences which occurred during my own experiments. It was actually a very nice surprise that this book has become a long seller, and continues to be popular even today.
This book also gave me the momentum to start my writing career. So far, I have authored nearly 50 books. The deeper my spiritual pursuit has become, the more convinced I am that the foundation of my writing exists in this book.
When we recognize the fact that everything that happens to us will change according to our way of thinking, and that it will thus become possible for us to realize our deepest desires and grandest dreams, our lives will become richer, more interesting, and much more enjoyable.
Furthermore, when we think of our own true happiness without comparing ourselves to others, we actually become more sympathetic and compassionate toward other people, other regions, and other countries, eventually becoming more aware of peace and happiness for all people in the world. We must recognize that if we would like to become involved in the happiness of others, we have to first take responsibility for our own happiness.
Furthermore, when people reach the consensus that our lives are truly precious, irreplaceable and wonderful, we will be able to realize world peace.
Although everyone has different historical, social and cultural backgrounds, the desire to have a happy, peaceful, and prosperous life is shared by all people. The positive power emitted from just one person can be transmitted to another, gradually spreading all over the community, eventually enthralling all countries and regions, gaining the momentum to change the entire world. This means that your own happiness will contribute to the happiness of all of the people in the world, and ultimately contribute to the achievement of world peace.
I would like to take this precious opportunity to thank everyone for reading this book in its entirety, and I would like to conclude this work by expressing my most sincere wishes that all people in the world will be able to find happiness and peace in both their respective environments and in their lives from now on.
